15. Once the bearings have
been started in the bores, an impact gun is used to bring them close to
where they will end up. It's at this point that you break out the
handtools in order to feel when the bearings are set properly. |

16. Our new swing arm is manufactured from material that is 0.200" taller than the original. Due to this, the brake caliper bracket is machined to remove the same 0.200-inch. This will allow the caliper to fit on the new swing arm and still move freely. The manufacture offers an option to buyers where you can send your caliper bracket to the company for machining at no charge. Unless you have access to a machine shop, this is something you might want to take advantage of. |

17. In order for the rear
fender to fit properly, the welds on the inside of the shock mounts will
need to be cleaned up just enough for the fender to fit between them
without getting scratched. Remember that the finder will be
receiving primer, basecoat, and clearcoat. Take this into account
when grinding the welds. |

the seat in place while determining proper fender position. Make
sure the space between the two is uniform. |
